Scribus, an Open Software Desktop Publisher

Scribus is open-source software that I worked with to create fictional, monthly newsletters for an elementary classroom. My intention was to design a template from which a teacher could easily utilize and plug in information, at no additional cost. The newsletters would not only report the students' activity, it would be a collaborative effort with parents' input and community engagements. Implementing newsletters such as this improves lines of communication, an integral component to student success. This project supports ISTE Standard 3b.
