Moodle Unit: Multiple Assessments

The Moodle unit I developed, How To Master Instagram, is a six-week course designed for higher-education purposes. As such, I created multiple summative-assessment approaches. For example, at the end of every week students are required to write, and post, a reflection. Also, per week, students are expected to participate in an online forum. Thirdly, for each week there is an assignment aligned with ISTE Standards. Below is the Learning Guide and Expectations per Week chart. If you review the last column, you will notice the weekly, summative assignments employed. The diverse assessments inform students of their learning as well as the teacher and, thus, this artifact supports ISTE Standard 2d.

 

 

 

Lastly, there is a formative, final project due at the end of the term. There are five options from which students can choose from (determined during Week 2). Below is a screenshot of the Question and Answer feature from my Moodle unit, Week 2.
