Lesson: Kindness Beats Bullying

This lesson for fifth-grade student meets the ISTE Standard 4b because it addresses the various needs of all learners while using digital tools available to them. For example, this lesson Kindness Beats Bullying is offered online in addition to the in-class version (see both versions below). Offering two approaches to the lesson offers equitable access to the content. More so, by offering an online version of the in-class lesson, the teacher has the flexibility to "flip" the classroom. Lastly, the implementation of a journal, individual research and writing reflections supports learner-centered strategies.
